Welcome to our breeding dogs

Breeding Idefixe miniature dogs is a wonderful experience with only a small number of puppys born each time. We find companionship so rewarding that we decided to continue the bloodline. We find it a major commitment, requiring long-term dedication and welfare of both the parent and offspring. We pride ourselves to understand the Idefixe mini dog's personality, genetics, temperament and characteristics.

As a responsible breeder we prioritize the welfare and health. We provide good care and social interaction. The breeding process is carefully planned to ensure healthy parents are prepared for the offspring arrival. We make sure the parents are of good character and physical well-being. A comfortable home environment is important, warm & clean. Typically, Idefixe parents are housed together for over a week. A normal breeding cycle is once-a-year, without stress to mother or complication during birth. A litter is normally one or sometimes maximum two pups that spend up to 8-weeks weaning from the mother. Puppies are not available for sale before 3-months of age.

Idefixe Dog – Standard Breed

Size: between 18 cm and 30 cm Weight: between 1 kg and a maximum of 3 kg
Colours: optionally grey/black (shades ranging from silver-grey to anthracite), white, cream, beige, and cinnamon.
Regardless of coat colour, the Idefixe head is noticeably lighter, usually one or two shades lighter, while the ears are dark.
The Idefixe is a miniature dog with a very elegant physique and well-balanced proportions. Its head is well formed, with a correct muzzle and large, expressive eyes (by no means prominent like those of a Chihuahua), large pointed ears, and a remarkably large tongue with strong, very firm teeth.
The back of the Idefixe is short, the legs are long and slender, and the tail is well proportioned, not too long and slightly curved.
The coat is semi-long and shaggy, neither too coarse nor too soft. The Idefixe has no undercoat and therefore sheds very little, making it a suitable companion for people sensitive to pet hair.
The Idefixe is a very robust and healthy dog. To date, no genetic defects or congenital (hereditary) diseases are known. The breed ages exceptionally well, with a life expectancy of up to 15–16 years with proper care and exercise. It is a very active, curious, and athletic dog that, despite its toy size, requires regular exercise and should not be over-pampered.
Feeding should be adapted to the dog’s small size and, under no circumstances, should it be overfed. Idefixe dogs eat relatively little and prefer to remain slim.
